MESSAGE FROM TARIK BATGUN
The note sent by Mr K. Tarkan BATGUN, the General Director of the gutto.biz company
which is the concept and logo sponsor of the “Gallipoli Tri Nations Tournament”, and who is
also the Chairman of the “Gallipoli Tri Nations Committee” is as follows:
"We are living the happiness of our hard work as the "Gallipoli Tri Nations Tournament
Committee" and as a company gutto.biz also. We have been campaigning for our new
tradition since 2005 in order to bring the unique friendship which was born from the
battlefields of Gallipoli to another level with Australia and New Zealand. The acronym of the
gutto.biz is "Gallipoli İnternational Trade Representation & Organisation". As you can
understand from our company name, Gallipoli and its friendship is very important to us. Since
our inception, we have been working very hard to advance on our friendship by encouraging
three Nations to have more relationships in sports field. There is no other relationship like
ours in the world. That's why we need to work even harder and hand to hand. We wish to
spread the "Gallipoli Tri Nations Tournament" tradition to other sports codes and hope to
celebrate our bond in 2015 like the "Olympics". As gutto.biz we will also work towards
establishing a high performance camp centre in Eceabat, and we want the three Nations to
camp together every year, learn from each other and excel together. Constant camps and
competitions will create strong rivalry which will make three nations even more stronger and
provide more gold medals. We hope the Gallipoli Tri Nations Tournaments bring more
success to our National Teams and our Nations. While we are congratulating Turkish,
Australian and New Zealander Handball Federations to come together in our new tradition,
we would like to also forward our respect to Australian and New Zealand Ambassadors for
their support."
