Our Men’s National Team has accepted an invitation by the Turkish Handball Federation, along with the Australian Handball Federation, to participate in a Tri-Nation tournament.
The Tournament will take place in Gallipoli, Turkey, 21st – 23rd of April 2010; and will be followed by everyone being able to attend ANZAC commemoration ceremonies on the 24th and 25th of April. |

Spartans vs Te Aroha friendship game |

 Monday, 19 October 2009, marks the night of a friendship game between one of the NZHF's most prestigious clubs, the Wellington Spartans against the Te Aroha Eels, a Lower Hutt based club with much history. This event is an important occasion as it marks a positive step in the right direction for the betterment of Handball in New Zealand. Coach of the Spartans, Pablo Steinman says he looks forward to giving this club a tough game. The NZHF is delighted to see the Wellington Spartans take a lead role in organising this event. Results and photos from the game will be posted here soon.
